And here's yet another new gig for Nicole Kidman. According to 'Variety' she will join two other big Australian stars Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce in STRANGERLAND which will be an Oz mystery drama about a couple whose teenage children go missing in the Outback. The shooting should start next year.
'LITTLE WOMEN' REMAKE
Meanwhile, Sony is looking to shoot a remake of famous movie adaptation LITTLE WOMEN which starred Christian Bale, Kirsten Dunst and Susan Sarandon back in the 90's. Louisa May Alcott's classic historical novel LITTLE WOMEN explores the lives of the four March sisters as the Civil War plays out in the backdrop.

ABC FANTASY SHOW 'BETA'
In TV news, Deadline reports that ABC will adapt Rachel Cohn's bestselling fantasy saga BETA into TV series. The story is set in the near future when clones have become the enslaved work force for the wealthy. But when a new Beta model is introduced and discovers the dark truth about her own origins, she also begins to uncover secrets and lies within the utopian island community she’s serving.
'HIERO- GLYPH' ANCIENT EGYPT SHOW
And it seems that after KING TUT upcoming show, we shall watch another one set in ancient Egypt: Fox has officially ordered 13 episodes of HIEROGLYPH, a fantastical historical adventure set in ancient Egypt, where fantasy and reality intertwined. It follows a notorious thief who is plucked from prison to serve the Pharaoh, navigating palace intrigue, seductive concubines, criminal underbellies and even a few divine sorcerers. The show comes from Travis Beacham who wrote CLASH OF THE TITANS and PACIFIC RIM.
NEW 'THE MUSKETEERS' PICTURE
And you can also check out the new photo from BBC's new adventure series THE MUSKETEERS which starts airing early next year following famous royal guards in 17th century Paris. D’Artagnan (Luke Pasqualino), Athos (Tom Burke), Aramis (Santiago Cabrera) and Porthos (Howard Charles) fight for what is just, and are heroes in the truest and most abiding sense.

NEW 'TARZAN' TRAILER
 WITH KELLAN LUTZ
The only trailer at the beginning of the week is a new one for animated adventure TARZAN which comes from the German producers with  Kellan Lutz lending his hunky voice to the main hero.  Following the adventures of the titular hero from his early childhood, when he is lost in the rainforest and taken in by apes, the film, which should open up in UK cinemas this January after already playing in Germany and Russia, then follows him as a grown man too, when he must fight off a ruthless corporation seeking to harvest a powerful energy source from his home.
