Şah Sultan

Şah
Sultan was the daughter of Sultan Selim I and Suleyman the Magnificent sister.
She grew up in Manisa and married to the grand vizier Lufti. She had two
daughters. In 1541.She divorced Lufti. Lufti Pasha ordered to cut the arm of an
adulterer, which led to a quarrel between him and Şah followed by Lufti beating
her. Şah complained to her brother, who approved the divorce and took the
position of grand vizier to Lufti. She died in Istanbul in 1572.
