Top 10 Most Beautiful Cities

What are the main factors that one should consider for choosing the most beautiful cities in the world? It is the city's people, their hospitality or friendliness, or it is the cities huge and high skyscrapers, or maybe the city's beauty during night time? There are a lot of things, one can look to be able to distinguish which of the most beautiful cities worldwide truly is the best.

City Name : Vienna

Vienna is the capital of Austria, and proud to say, also my middle name. Some says that the city name Vienna was derived from the Celtic word "windo-" which means "bright or fair". Other accounts stated that Vienna name came from Irish which is "fionn" and Welsh - "gwyn". Other opinions said it was from the word "Vedunia" which means "forest stream". There are so many accounts and related discussions for the true origin of the city name Vienna but one thing is for sure, this city is undeniably beautiful.

Paris is the capital city of France. Paris name originated from its early dwellers. The Gaulish tribe which is Paris early dwellers is also known and called as Parisii, which was believed to be originated from the word "parisio" which means "the working people" or "the craftsmen". During the Roman era, Paris was known as Lutetia Parisiorum. It was the time of the reign of Julian the Apostate it obtained the name Paris. Some of the popular name for Paris is The City of Love and more famously known for The City of Light. Paris main icon worldwide is the Eiffel Tower named after Gustave Eiffel.

The name Vancouver is now widely accepted originated from "van Coevorden" which means "originating from Coevorden".
