CRAZY DUOS MOVIES SUNDAY: JOHN LITHGOW & ALFRED MOLINA GO GAY IN 'LOVE IS STRANGE', STEVE COOGAN & ROB BRYDON TAKE 'THE TRIP TO ITALY', SENIOR TRIP TO ICELAND IN 'LAND HO!'

LOVE IS STRANGE
JOHN LITHGOW & ALFRED MOLINA
We're having a CRAZY DUOS MOVIES SUNDAY, people, starting with delightful comedy LOVE IS STRANGE in which reallife friends John Lithgow and Alfred Molina play a gay couple! The film, which was shown at a number of festivals this year, sees the two of them playing Ben and George, a same-sex couple forced to sell their flat and live apart after George loses his job as a school choir director right after they get married. While George moves in with two cops (Cheyenne Jackson and Manny Perez) who live down stairs, Ben lands in Brooklyn with his nephew (Darren Burrows), his wife (Marisa Tomei), and their temperamental teenage son (Charlie Tahan), with whom Ben shares a bunk bed.

THE TRIP TO ITALY
STEVE COOGAN & ROB BRYDON
Another crazy duo can be seen in delightful comedy THE TRIP TO ITALY which is currently in cinemas starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon who embark on a new culinary road trip around Italy in the summer, where they enjoy mouth-watering meals in the gorgeous surroundings of Liguria, Tuscany, Rome, Amalfi and Capri. They riff on subjects as varied as Batman's vocal register, Pompeii, the artistic merits of "Jagged Little Pill", and, of course, compete on who can do the best Michael Caine impersonation. Michael Winterbottom is directing!

LAND HO!
SENIOR TRIP TO ICELAND
You shall also see a crazy duo taking another joyous international trip in LAND HO! a comedy by Martha Stevens which also played at some of the movie festivals this year. Paul Eenhoorn and Earl Lynn Nelson play a pair of ex-brothers-in-law who set off to Iceland in an attempt to reclaim their youth through Reykjavik nightclubs, trendy spas, and rugged campsites. This bawdy adventure is a throwback to 1980s road trip comedies, as well as a candid exploration of ageing, loneliness, and friendship. LAND HO! lands into cinemas this July!
