Species
Species is the basic unit of categorizing organisms into groups, thus, genus, family, class and species. Species are capable of producing offspring, not only a normal offspring but a fertile offspring. This only means that animals or plants under a particular species or different species have the ability to reproduce as long as they want too. Species are also used to measure biological theories and measuring biodiversity.
