This question is almost inevitable when one sees the extent of popularity that Kivanç reached, and particularly among the Pakistani community in the a very short period.
The point here is whether one is attracted to him because he is a "westernized" version of Muslim guys, and therefore, many girls' dream-come-true man, or because he is displays a profound attachment to the values and traditions that are related to his culture.
Personally, I am "in love" with the combination of those two aspects. I really admire his liberal way of being (reflected in his artistic choices, the tatoos on his body, his mode of life, etc) but also his respect to values and deep commitment as a person, a family member, and certainly a friend and a colleague. I find this combination quite rich and unique, and maybe it is even a reflection of the Turkish culture itself which is quite exceptional as well...
I hope that you agree with me that it's no exaggeration to assert that Kivanç's popularity is being phenomenal in different parts of the world, and that he has sort of revolutionized our existence thanks to his very unique and amazing presence on the artistic scene. Just look at the fans' number on his facebook page which keeps increasing by 1000 at least each day, Masha Allah! And even in the "offline world" people are being crazy about him, and these include all sorts of categories ranging from housewives to working women, from adults to kids, from girls to boys, form romantics to realists, from "simple-minded" to those showing a higher degree of intellect, from soap opera addicts to art critics, and the list is just long...
True that he was introduced to most of us through his series Ishq e Memnu, and true he captivated his audience and managed to hold it spellbound. However, Kivanç Tatlitug is a name that can't be forgotten once the series is finished or this "wave of craziness" if we may call it so is over. In fact, I see Kivanç's lasting effect right in the way he successfully communicated to us intense and profound emotions that we are not likely to forget soon. He also -- I'm sure you agree -- redefined many notions that are closely related to our everyday life, and inspired us in a very positive way, especially when it comes to such essential values as commitment, faithfulness, determination, positive aggression, love, etc. I really think that he did so magnificently well, and for this he does deserve the loyalty and devotion of his fans. Above all, I see Kivanç's most significant contribution in the way he -- directly or indirectly -- rekindled our interest in the Turkish culture, as we are passionately developing a keen interest in finding out more about Turkish music, language and history, which is in my opinion a very beautiful way of bridging cultures and learning to appreciate the other regardless of differences or distinctions.
Well then, thank you very much Kivanç Tatlitug, and be sure that your passage into our lives is not going to be a passing crazy adventure! Far from it, we're going to be nourished by your essence, and for a long lasting time!
