Snakes are elongated, legless and carnivorous reptiles that belongs to kingdom Animalia and phylum Chordata. Every continents except Antarctica has snakes. Most of snakes are nonvenomous that is why in the Western countries some snakes are considered as pets. The word "Snake" came from the Old English word "snaca". For those who are in the field of studying this amazing world of snakes, they still do not know the exact origin of snakes, talking scientifically. But talking using the Bible, of course snakes are created by our God. The longest snake called Titanoboa cerrejonensis having the length of 39 to 49 feet are now endangered.

These snakes are also called Morelia viridis. Green Tree Python are mainly found in New Guinea, islands in Indonesia, and Cape York Peninsula in Australia. This snake has slim body and can reach up to 4.9 to 5.9 feet long. Large females can reach up to 6.6 feet long. For the weight, males can reach up to 2.4 to 3.1 lbs while females can weigh up to 3.5 lbs. Some of these female snakes can weigh up to 4.8 lbs. which are rare.
