There are eighty (80) provinces in the Philippines all in all. Provinces which is in tagalog "probinsya" is the opposite of a city. Most of the industries in the Philippines are mainly from provinces. These industries are the crops, food processing, agriculture, minerals, mining, tourism, milling, handicrafts and furniture, mass transportation operation, machinery, livestock and poultry, textiles and garments, textiles and furniture, quarrying, natural gas and lastly, energy related industries.

Personally, I am from the province of Oriental Mindoro or worldly known as Mindoro Island Province. Mindoro is divided into two provinces which are the Oriental and Occidental Mindoro. Mindoro's nearby provinces are the Romblon, Batangas, Marinduque and Palawan. Palawan on the other hand is the most biggest province by land area in the Philippines. From Oriental Mindoro, you can take a ship in Calapan City to go Batangas City and vice versa. And from Batangas City you take a bus to go to Manila which is the capital city of Philippines.

Provinces of the Philippines are obviously divided by water. And I think that's the main reason why Philippines is a poor country. We Filipinos can't deny that. These provinces have their own different languages and different religions. It is truly a challenge for the president to unite Filipinos.

I made the top 10 list of the most biggest Philippine provinces and here they are.
